Our founder
In 1976, Walter Smussi decided to transform his experience in the textile sector into an innovative reality, creating a company specialized in sports socks.
By collaborating with the major brands in the sector both in Italy and in Europe, Smussi has laid the foundations for lasting success.
The ’80s and ’90s
In the 1980s, Mr. Smussi consistently aimed for the highest quality for his products. At the end of the 90s, Tecso was born, the proprietary brand that still stands out on the market today with technical clothing suitable for all sports.
The evolution of WZ International
The company continues to grow thanks to the commitment of Mr. Smussi’s three sons, who keep the value of this historic enterprise alive. Since 2002, W-Z has also specialized in the production of underwear and seamless technical clothing, expanding the offer to satisfy even the most demanding customers with high quality products 100% MADE IN ITALY.
New frontiers
Since 2017, W-Z has further diversified its production to include sublimation uppers and garments. The use of cutting-edge machinery, excellent raw materials and attentive and attentive customer service are the added values that always guarantee the high quality of our garments, entirely produced in Italy.
The long experience in white label processing has led the company to collaborate with the best companies in every textile sector, providing and acquiring top quality know-how.
